F.A.Qs

*Frequently asked Questions*

Q: what time do you need to start hair services on my wedding day?

-This depends on a few factors like: ceremony start time, if you're doing any first looks/other pre-ceremony photos, your desired hair style, as well as what time the venues bridal suite opens (if you plan on trying to use it). Sometimes, it is more convenient to use a hotel or Airbnb if your ceremony is earlier and/or the bridal suite opens later or, having a larger bridal party)

Q: When do I schedule my Bridal Hair Preview (trial)?

-Typically, I recommend scheduling Previews 1-4 months out from your wedding day. This way, we can do multiples (if need be) and you don't change your mind a ton! Unless you're an out-of-town bride and/or we need to make other arrangements.

Q: How far in advance should I book my Bridal Hair & Makeup for my wedding?

-Contrary to what most wedding planning websites and Pinterest posts say about this, I say the sooner the better. Hair and Makeup, especially the artists who specialize in either/or, sometimes book 1-2 years out. I highly recommend reaching out as soon as you get engaged and pick a date.

Q: Where would I go for my trial?

-Previews are done in a salon studio located in Latham NY.

Q: Do you travel and is there a fee?

-Yes! We will travel to you for your wedding day at the getting-ready location. Fees range from $50-$250, depending on how far your wedding is from Latham, NY. Lodging will be required for locations 1.5hrs, or more, from Latham, NY- this would be an additional fee. check out my pricing here!

Q: Can you bring someone to help you if I have a larger Bridal Party?

-Yes! we work with many Stylists that are very talented and can come assist with larger bridal parties and/or time restraints. (this is an additional fee).

Q: Can I incorporate my clip in extensions/can you help me pick some out for my trial and wedding day?

-Yes! We are here to guide you all the way and help with whatever info and advice you may need with extensions.

Q: Will you be able to put my veil in for me on my wedding day?

-Depending on your day-of schedule, I can, but also another option is showing a trusted bridesmaid, MOH or MOB how to put it in and take it out so it doesn't disrupt your

hairstyle.

Q: How should I prep my hair for my trial and wedding day?

-I'll send a detailed email one week before your Preview (trial) and then another user-friendly, easy to read guide, to you and your bridal party one week before your wedding date. This way, you and your Bridal Party are ready for styling for the big day.

Q: Do you bring everything to me to do every ones hair?

- Yes! Casey has a professional bridal artist kit she travels with that has everything she would need for every hair type. This includes top of the line tools, products and supplies. She will always be fully prepared for every bridal party and any hiccups that may occur. This does not include clip in extensions and hair accessories for your wedding day. (Bride must purchase those in advance)
